Here are a few more samples from my new Devil's Dictionary of words and phrases that are (ab)used in Silicon Valley.
Flat-earther - (n)
Someone who's never tried standing up and sitting down again while watching a sunset.
Flow - (n)
A state of enhanced performative competence that occurs when distractions are subsumed. Antonym: trying to work in an open concept office.
Flow - (v)
To carry on at speed without delay or interruption, as though driving with diplomatic plates.
Focus group - (n)
The dancing bears used to convince stakeholders that they have insight into how bears behave in the wild.
Fork off - (v)
To branch off suddenly from a path or route, often shouted as a phrase of encouragement.
Free speech - (n)
My protected right to incite others to take violent action against you for saying something with which I disagree.
