Here are a few more samples from my new Devil's Dictionary of words and phrases that are (ab)used in Silicon Valley.

Elevator pitch - (n)
The uncomfortably obvious slope of the floors in the elevators of San Francisco's Salesforce Tower.

E-mail - (n)
A slow and archaic form of communication. See also Telegram, Telegraph, Telephone, and Talking.

Embedding - (n)
The wider of two duvets. This was a joke for typesetters.

End point destination - (n)
Literally, the last place you want to go.

Engagement - (n)
Degree of involvement, sometimes measured in rings.
